Taylored Fitness Training (TFT) – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Taylored Fitness Training (TFT). By purchasing or participating in any TFT service, you agree to the terms outlined below. 

  1. Scope of Services 

TFT provides personal training, online coaching, and exercise programming services designed to improve general health, fitness, and performance. 

TFT operates within the professional scope of a qualified exercise professional. TFT does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or rehabilitation services unless explicitly qualified and agreed in writing. 

Where appropriate, clients may be referred to a GP or other healthcare professional. 

  1. Client Responsibility & Medical Disclosure 

All clients must complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) prior to commencing training. 

Clients are responsible for: 

  • Providing accurate and complete medical information. 

  • Informing TFT immediately of any changes in health status. 

  • Obtaining medical clearance where required. 

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may increase risk and void liability protections. 

  1. Assumption of Risk 

Participation in physical training involves inherent risks including, but not limited to: 

  • Musculoskeletal injury 

  • Cardiovascular events 

  • Fatigue-related injury 

By engaging in TFT services, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks. 

  1. Payment Terms 

All services must be paid in full prior to commencement. 

Block bookings (e.g. 6-session packages): 

  • Must be paid upfront. 

  • Are valid for 8 weeks from the date of purchase unless otherwise agreed. 

  • Expire after this period unless extended at TFT’s discretion. 

Online coaching: 

  • Operates on a monthly rolling basis. 

  • Payment is taken in advance. 

  • Requires 7 days’ written notice to cancel before the next billing cycle. 

Digital programmes: 

  • Must be paid in full before delivery. 

  • Are non-transferable. 

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. 

  1. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy 

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an in-person session. 

Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full. 

Missed sessions without notice will be forfeited. 

TFT may reschedule sessions due to illness, emergencies, or circumstances beyond control. Alternative arrangements will be offered. 

  1. Refund Policy 

Payments are non-refundable once services have commenced. 

Refunds for unused sessions may be considered at TFT’s sole discretion in exceptional circumstances. 

Digital products (including programmes) are non-refundable once delivered. 

  1. Results Disclaimer 

Results vary depending on individual adherence, lifestyle factors, nutrition, sleep, stress, and effort. 

TFT does not guarantee specific outcomes including weight loss, muscle gain, or performance improvements. 

  1. Code of Conduct 

Clients must behave respectfully toward staff, other gym users, and facilities. 

TFT reserves the right to terminate services without refund if: 

  • Abusive or inappropriate behaviour occurs 

  • Harassment or misconduct takes place 

  • Gym rules are repeatedly violated 

  1. Late Arrival Policy 

If a client arrives late, the session will finish at the scheduled time and the full session fee will apply. 

  1. Intellectual Property 

All training programmes, resources, documents, and materials provided by TFT remain the intellectual property of Taylored Fitness Training. 

They may not be shared, copied, distributed, or resold without written consent. 

  1. Data Protection & Confidentiality 

TFT complies with UK GDPR regulations. 

Client information is: 

  • Stored securely 

  • Used solely for coaching and administrative purposes 

  • Not shared with third parties without consent unless legally required 

Clients may request access to their data at any time. 

  1. Limitation of Liability 

TFT shall not be held liable for: 

  • Injuries sustained outside of supervised sessions 

  • Failure to follow prescribed programmes correctly 

  • Indirect or consequential losses 

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where required by UK law. 

  1. Force Majeure 

TFT shall not be liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, government restrictions, facility closures, or natural events. 

  1. Amendments 

TFT reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. 

Clients will be notified of material changes.
